Far Cry 7 may have been confirmed by Ubisoft

Far Cry 6 was the last game released in this franchise by Ubisoft, the game has been available since October 2021 and in recent months the franchise has managed to rest.

However, everything indicates that a new Far Cry, which could very well be Far Cry 7, is already in full development, as Ubisoft Toronto is hiring a UX Designer employee to work with “Far Cry Project”.

Unfortunately the job posting doesn't provide many details about this Far Cry Project, just that the person must have experience in user interfaces and write the associated documentation in collaboration with the UI team, including logic, layout, menus and more.

It's worth remembering that in January of this year, insider and journalist Tom Henderson stated that Far Cry 7 is already in development, as well as another multiplayer Far Cry project.

The details about the two projects are unknown, only that Far Cry 7 is known internally as Project Blackbird, and the multiplayer game – Project Maverick

Ubisoft Toronto is described as one of the largest development studios within Ubisoft, employing talented people from all over the world.

Over the last few years the development team has worked on several titles for the company such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, For Honor and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.
