The transport bonus can be requested several times by the same beneficiary, up to the maximum payable amount, provided that the various questions are made in months different. On 1 October, the Minister of Labor Andrea Orlando stated that from this month, the second in which the measure is operational, "it will be possible to request the bonus for monthly subscriptions again, for those who have already used one in September or for annual subscriptions. for those who have not yet applied for it in the last month ”.

Those who benefited from the contribution by purchasing a monthly subscription last month will therefore be able to apply for it again, for a total saving of up to 120 euros between September and October.

Funding

The measure was introduced by the Aid decree, through which the executive allocated 79 million euros to finance it. A further 101 million was then added to the fund with the Aid bis decree. Following the refinancing by the Aid ter decree, the total amount covering the contribution was raised to 190 million.
