10 news coming soon on iOs 16

iOs 16 debuted bringing with it numerous innovations that improve the experience on the iPhone such as the ability to customize the unlock screen in a deeper way, but also the ability to edit messages sent with iMessage without forgetting the best in Focus mode. By the end of the year, however, even more features are on the way that are currently being tested in beta versions. Here are the ten most interesting new features coming to iOs 16 and to keep an eye on.

The much appreciated display of the numerical percentage of the battery will also land on older iPhones such as iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini. Since it is common for a household to share the same storage space, Apple is preparing shared photo folders on iCloud to create a collection available for all authorized users to add, remove or edit. Even third-party apps will be able to take advantage of activities in real time with live updates on something in progress, to be displayed on the unlock screen or in the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. The Apple Fitness + service will be available to all users on the iPhone even without owning an Apple Watch, even if they lose information such as heart rate or calories burned in real time. The Matter standard will soon be supported on iPhones (as well as iPads and Macs) to connect compatible home automation accessories to a widespread ecosystem that also includes Amazon's Google Hom and Alexa.

The adaptive transparency of background noises already seen on the new AirPods Pro 2 will also be brought on board the AirPods Max headphones with iOs 16.1. For productivity, Freeform will arrive, a sort of whiteboard designed for brainstorming and collaborative ideas in freedom, supporting Apple Pencil and calls via FaceTime. Apple Music Classical is a service dedicated to classical music, which is by no means a niche market, but rather affects millions of people all over the world; the acquisition of the Primephonic service in August 2021 opened this new channel close to being official. For now, instead, the SOS request for emergency via satellite is destined only for Canada and the USA, exploiting the ability of the new iPhone 14 to communicate directly with the instruments in orbit; it is not yet clear if and when this function will also come to us as well as the green battery recharge only when the electricity grid can guarantee the lowest emissions, another US exclusive.
