Windows 11 blocks undervolting and overvolting on MSI cards

According to what users of the MSI_Gaming subreddit reported, Microsoft has recently released a new Windows 11 update that blocks software undervolting and overvolting on MSI motherboards that use Intel processors.

Unfortunately, the update responsible for this behavior has not yet been precisely identified, but MSI is already working to solve the problem and publish a new BIOS as soon as possible that will bring the situation back to normal (motherboards with chipset 600 already have this fix.)

Microsoft's patch apparently automatically enables Virtualization-based Security (VBS) in Windows 11 (also known as "Memory Integrity" in the security app Windows 10 and Windows 11), which blocks access to certain operating system registers, including those required for software overclocking. This not only makes it impossible to overvolt and undervolt the CPU with software tools, such as XTU, but monitoring applications (such as CPU-Z) may also malfunction.

In fact, the new release introduces themes, with which you can also set a custom background, in the drop-down menu located in the appearance settings.
