The photo of a mysterious RTX 3090 SUPER has been leaked

The photo of a brand new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 SUPER Founders Edition graphics card featuring an elegant black heatsink appeared on the Chinese NGA forum. The appearance already appears rather unusual, given that, generally, Founders Edition models feature a cover with a very shiny chrome and certainly not black. Furthermore, the well-known GPU-Z software has recognized the card as an RTX 3090 Ti, the current top model of the “Ampere” line up (waiting for “Ada Lovelace”). Another important difference between the RTX 3090 SUPER and the RTX 3090 Ti is the fan design.

Recall that the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is equipped with a GA102 GPU with a 628mm² die, produced with the classic 8nm process of Samsung, accompanied by 24GB of 21Gb / s GDDR6X VRAM on a 384-bit bus. The reference frequencies start at 1560MHz and arrive in boost at 1860MHz, while the specifications of the graphics processor speak of 10,752 CUDA cores, 84 RT Cores and 336 Tensor cores.

A few days ago, the alleged first "real" photo of a GeForce RTX 4080 was leaked online, the presentation of which is now imminent. From the image you could see the presence of a heatsink very similar to that used on the previous RTX 30 series, while the font used for the "RTX 4080" writing is the same that we now find on the official NVIDIA website. For more details on this, we recommend that you read our previous dedicated article. Finally, according to the latest rumors, it seems that the RTX 4080 will be available with different memory cuts. For all the details of the case, we refer you to our news.
