Possible PCB of the Radeon RX 7900XT leaked

The official presentation and launch of the new generation graphics cards from AMD, namely the much rumored Radeon RX 7000, is not far off. This new range will be built on a 5nm process node, will exploit advanced chiplet packaging, will be equipped with renewed computing units as well as an optimized graphics pipeline, without forgetting the integration of a new generation Infinity Cache and over 50 % performance / watt more than RDNA 2. According to the latest rumors, we should expect a rather high performance leap forward, as the mid-range model, the Radeon RX 7700, will presumably offer superior performance to the current RX 6800 and RX 6900, while consuming less power. >
Recently, Igor Wallossek of Igor's Lab published what the PCB of the Radeon RX 7900XT should be, although it is not specified whether it is the “reference” model or a custom variant. Apparently, the card, which is expected to be based on the Navi 31 GPU with 7 chiplets, will be equipped with three 8-pin power connectors, for up to 450W of power. The choice of not integrating the new 16-pin 12VHPWR connector, which would offer the possibility of up to 600W, remains rather curious, but it is by no means excluded that AMD may switch to this connector in the future.

For now, we just have to wait a few more weeks to find out more directly from the Sunnyvale-based company.
