Google Pixel 7 Pro: A top-of-the-range unboxing video leaks online early

Google Pixel 7 Pro

Google has already announced the Pixel 7 Pro together with the new Pixel 7, but there has not yet been an extended official presentation: this should take place shortly, considering the close release period, so much so that an unboxing video of the new top-of-the-range smartphone from Google has already emerged on the net.

This is, in particular, an unofficial unboxing video that comes from the Gadgetfull BD Facebook page, which apparently has already received the device complete with packaging who allowed this video to be made at least a month in advance.

You can find the video at this address and it looks very authentic. We have practically already seen Google Pixel 7 Pro in the first official renderings published by the company on the occasion of the Google I / O 2022, but in this case it is possible to see it in more detail from various angles, as regards the front and back, in addition to the power on.

Aesthetically, the new Pixel 7 Pro is very similar to the previous model, with the most marked difference given by the color of the band that encloses the camera complex on the back, now in color metallic gray (satin in the standard version). The body has a glossy effect, as can also be seen in the video, while the front follows the previous style with very thin frames (as regards the Pro version) and the central hole at the top for the front camera.

From a hardware perspective, the displays of the Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro should be the same as the previous models, while inside there should be a new generation of the Tensor Core SoC, as well as updated cameras. It should be released in October 2022, so a more extensive official presentation should take place soon.

Google preempted a lot of the usual leaks when it gave us an early look at the Pixel 7 Pro at Google I/O in May. But that hasn’t prevented some hands-on videos with what looked like Pixel 7 prototypes from surfacing over the summer.

Now we have another quick video of Google’s 2022 flagship phone, and this time we see what looks like a retail unit of the Pixel 7 Pro.

The unboxing video was posted on Facebook by Bangladeshi retailer Gadgetfull BD. We’ve embedded a rehosted version that’s easier to view on the website. It doesn’t show us a lot in terms of new details, but it does confirm previous leaks and speculation about the Pixel 7 Pro.
