The Witcher 3: you don't need the next gen update thanks to these mods

The Witcher 3

Towards the end of the year, CD Projekt RED is expected to release the next gen update of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The Polish development team has not yet announced the official release date yet, but thanks to the person behind the Digital Dreams channel, we can get a glimpse of what the Polish production game could look like in a modern version.

While still beautiful nowadays, with the right mods The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt manages to be downright majestic. And so, thanks to the experiments of Digital Dreams, Geralt's adventure definitely becomes a must have to be played under certain conditions, that is to have a decidedly powerful PC and an adequate monitor.

In addition to the next gen update for Geralt's adventure, CD Projekt RED should be working on a first expansion of Cyberpunk 2077. The action game with RPG elements has now been available for over two years, but a number of issues that were encountered at launch forced the development team to work on it for over a year, consequently postponing some of the content that was originally planned. At the moment we do not know in detail the nature of the next contents of the game, but we sincerely hope that the software house can announce something new really shortly.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Figures Revealed by Dark Horse

Dark Horse has another wave of Witcher figures in the works. But whereas the most recent batch was inspired the Netflix series, this new trio of collectibles is based on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Check out the slideshow gallery below for a closer look at these three new figures, featuring Geralt of Rivia in his Toussaint Tourney armor, his nemesis Imlerith and his mentor Vesemir:

As with the previous Witcher releases, these aren't technically figures so much as PVC statues. Each one measures between 7.75 and 9 inches tall, depending on the pose, and all come with a 1.5-inch display base. The Imlerith figure also includes an alternate head piece, allowing you to display him either masked or unmasked.

The Geralt and Vesemir figures are priced at $59.99 and Imlerith is priced at $69.99. All three figures are slated for release in February 2023. You can preorder all three through the IGN Store right now.
