Intel introduces Arc Pro GPUs for desktop and mobile workstations

Intel has presented its new series of Intel Arc Pro A series GPUs, designed for the professional segment, and which will therefore be available on portable and desktop workstations. The first to arrive are the Intel Arc Pro A30M (mobile) GPUs and the Intel Arc Pro A40 (single slot) and A50 (dual slot) desktop GPUs with compact format. Both GPUs offer hardware-integrated Ray Tracing functionality, machine learning capabilities and AV1 hardware coding cceleration, an industry first.

Intel Arc Pro A-series GPUs aim for certifications with leading professional software applications in the fields of architecture, engineering and construction, as well as design and manufacturing. In addition, the Intel Arc Pros are optimized for multimedia and entertainment applications (eg Blender) and run the Intel oneAPI Rendering Toolkit open source libraries, which are characterized by a high rate of adoption and integration into the most popular rendering tools in the industry.

Still in the Intel area, there is also expectation for the arrival of the Intel Arc Alchemist, expected between August and September, in any case some Intel exponents have stressed that the new models will be officially announced only when these they will be ready to be shipped and that the company has no advance announcements planned, so we just have to wait for the first test specimens to arrive.
