Skyrim, the highly anticipated multiplayer mod has a release date

Skyrim

If you loved Skyrim's multiplayer mod, get ready: a new update will be available very soon, which will include a series of new features. A real overhaul, which will be launched in the course of next week and which will bring the mod to the much desired version 1.0, after several postponements.

Let's go in order: the mod is called Skyrim Together and allow players to cooperatively face the adventures of The Elder Scrolls V. This is clearly a handcrafted multiplayer, a very similar addition to the one seen with Fallout New Vegas, where some modders have managed to implement a real asynchronous multiplayer in full Dark Souls and Elden Ring style. The mod of the fifth chapter of the Bethesda saga is different, however, since it is aimed precisely at the co-op.| ); }
With the stable version of Skyrim Together, however, work on another similar mod is interrupted, or the one dedicated to Fallout 4. However, the developers have promised that the project has not been canceled, but only on pause. On the other hand, it is really difficult for an indie team to be able to create similar experiences: so better that they focus on one project at a time, don't you think? Skyrim: 5 Best Bows In The Game, Ranked

So, you’re beginning yet another playthrough of Skyrim. You weigh up the advantages and disadvantages of every build and you naturally decide to create another stealth archer. Fear not, the majority of the player base has decided the same thing. We here at DualShockers would not want to have you wreaking havoc at a distance unprepared, so we’ve prepared a brief list of the best bows available across Skyrim (and Solstheim).

Skyrim has a lot of bows so narrowing it down to five of the best wasn’t easy. Before we begin, some honourable mentions include Zephyr, the base Dragonbone Bow and the Stalhrim Bow. Without further ado, here are the five best bows in Skyrim.

DUALSHOCKERS VIDEO OF THE DAY5. Glass Bow of the Stag Prince

The Glass Bow of the Stag Prince’s name is a reference to the Daedric Prince Hircine, which is appropriate considering this bow is bought on Solstheim, the site of the deadly Bloodmoon. You can get this unique glass bow from the Dunmer merchant Falas Selvayn at his Ramshackle Trading Post on the southern side of Solstheim. He only appears if you enter the area between 12 am and 6 am, waiting will not cause him to spawn. Sometimes he has the bow equipped rather than for sale, in which case, there are plenty of ways to part characters from their weapons in Skyrim.

This bow has respectable damage but its main appeal is its stacking enchantment. The bow gives the wielder additional five points of health and stamina per 20 animals killed using it, stacking up to five times. This means at max enchantment, you will have an extra 25 points of stamina and health. This beefy enchantment combined with the bow’s high base damage makes the Glass Bow of the Stag Prince one of the most formidable bows in Skyrim.

4. Gauldur Black Bow

The Gauldur Black Bow is one of four artifacts that you can recover during the quest “Forbidden Legend.” To begin this quest, simply read a copy of the book “Lost Legends” which can be found in numerous places around Skyrim. The bow specifically can be found in Geriumund’s Hall wielded by the very powerful draugr Sigdis Gauldurson. Sigdis has access to the full-power Unrelenting Force shout so be wary of being ragdolled during the fight. Once this formidable foe is taken down, you will be rewarded with the Gauldur Black Bow.

While the Black Bow has an average base damage state, as tends to be the case with weapons in Skyrim, the power is in the enchantment. This bow is the quintessential anti-mage weapon, absorbing magicka from your enemies with every arrow fired. With a large proportion of the enemies you face being magic-wielders, the Gauldur Black Bow is always worth having in the back pocket, or wherever the Dragonborn stores the assortment of goods they keep on their person at all times.

3. Auriel’s Bow

Acquiring this bow takes the Dragonborn on quite a journey. However, considering Auriel’s Bow has the power to block out the sun or make it explode, we think it’s fair that you have to undergo a little hardship to get it. Auriel’s Bow is obtained by completing the penultimate quest in the Dawnguard main quest line, “Touching the Sky.” So, you’ll have to battle your way through the beautiful Forgotten Vale to get it.

While its base damage is on the lower side, its enchantment makes the difference. Auriel’s Bow inflicts 20 points of sun damage and does triple damage to the undead. This thing is invaluable when clearing out Draugr-infested ruins. It also has one of the fastest drawback speeds of any bow, only being bested by Zephyr. Using Sunhallowed Arrows or Bloodcursed Arrows can also make the sun explode or disappear respectively, which is neat.

2. Nightingale Bow

The signature bow of Nocturnal’s chosen, the Nightingale Bow packs quite the punch. You acquire this bow from Karliah after completing one of the last Thieves Guild quests, “Blindsighted.” Remember that everything in Skyrim scales with level, so if you want this bow to be at maximum power, acquire it after level 46.

The Nightingale Bow has among the highest base damages in the game, with a powerful enchantment to boot. “Nightingale Storm” inflicts bonus frost and shock damage, adding a lot of damage to the sleek weapon. With some of the highest base damage in the game and a powerful damaging enchantment, the Nightingale Bow is one of the best bows available to the Dovahkiin.

1. Dwarven Black Bow of Fate

The Dwarven Black Bow of Fate is genuinely a legendary weapon. In order to obtain this incredibly powerful artifact, you must gather Resonance Gems across Solstheim to unlock gates within the Dwemer ruin Kagrumez. Upon gathering the gems and solving the ruin’s puzzles, you can find the Dwarven Black Bow of Fate sitting on a rack near its end.

This bow has one of the most powerful enchantments in Skyrim, and Solstheim for that matter. For every arrow shot, there is a chance to drain 25 points of health, magicka and/or stamina from the target. For each attribute, the chance is 50% which means each shot has three individual checks it makes when the hit lands. Though there are bows with higher base damages and faster drawback speeds, this incredible enchantment makes the Dwarven Black Bow of Fate the most powerful in Skyrim.
