Ford has announced its intention to bring to the European market the new Ford Bronco, an off-road vehicle with extreme capabilities and which boasts an absolutely enviable concentration of technology, which allows it to tackle all types of terrain off-road.

In 2020, 25 after the last model, Ford brought the Bronco back to the American market and in a few months - we are talking about the end of 2023 - we will have the opportunity to see it also in Europe, only in some selected markets.

Designed specifically for off-roading, the new Bronco can boast some special features that are very appealing to off-road enthusiasts: for example, the Bronco is equipped not only with a removable hard top, but also with easily removable doors thanks to its low weight. - and once the doors are removed, where do you put them? Obviously in the dedicated bags that Ford supplies together with the car. Ford says a single tool is enough to remove the doors, and that the entire job can be done in just 8 minutes. This drastically increases visibility during off-road sessions, and offers the owner a further possibility of customizing his car.

The new Ford Bronco is equipped with HOSS (High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension) suspension made with independent arms equipped with long-travel coil springs that they allow to reduce the unsprung weight by 20%; at the rear there is a 5-link axle with variable calibration spring, supported by shock absorbers that absorb the most important shocks.

There is also technology, with the Terrain Management System, a computerized system that modifies the behavior of the car according to the conditions of the terrain. In addition to the classic driving modes for paved roads, there are also the Mud / Ruts, Sand and Baja modes dedicated to off-road vehicles.


And under the hood? Ford offers 2 different petrol engines, a 2.3-liter four-cylinder Ecoboost capable of delivering 270 horsepower, and the 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost with 310 horsepower. In both cases, a 7-speed manual gearbox or a 10-speed SelectShift automatic gearbox can be combined.

As anticipated, the arrival of the new Ford Bronco on the European market is expected towards the end of 2023.
