The Last of Us: A video from the TV series precisely replicates a scene from the game

The Last of Us

The Last of Us continues to show itself in short flashes thanks to the work of various leakers and insiders who are publishing images and also very short clips of the shooting of the HBO TV series, as shown in this case by a small video in which we see a perfect replica of a scene of the Naughty Dog game.

Although some creative licenses are likely from the team that is in charge of the production of the TV series, many elements of the series will probably faithfully reproduce the characteristics of the Naughty Dog game to precisely replicate some scenes, as shown in the short video below.

In the video posted on TikTok and reported by an account practically specialized in gathering information on The Last of Us TV series, we see a shot from what appears to be a secondary, or surveillance, camera with Ellie ( Bella Ramsey) who enters a small window and then opens the door to Joel (Pedro Pascal) and enters an otherwise inaccessible structure.

As the direct comparison with the video shown immediately below demonstrates, the scene replicates in a rather precise way a sequence present in the first The Last of Us videogame, demonstrating how some ideas are transported from the game to the series TV.

As for the series, we learned in recent days that Pedro Pascal tried to play the Naughty Dog title but that it did not go very well, while on the video game front it emerged that the team seems to be working on a remake that could be about the series.

A brand new behind the scenes look at HBO’s The Last of Us, courtesy of Twitter user HBOsTheLastofUs, has given fans a glimpse of how closely the TV show will replicate the original game.

The footage, seen in the tweet below, shows a near-perfect replica of Ellie climbing through a small vent in the wall to unlock a door to a warehouse and allow Joel to make his way through. Although the scene isn’t a shot for shot remake of the game, many fans expressed their excitement with one Reddit user stating “It’s little things like this that will give the show a feeling similar to the game”.

Others expressed their desire to find out how exactly Joel and Ellie would interact with each other in the show, with one fan pointing out that the dialogue in the original game would have Joel saying lines such as “Okay, Ellie. Just in and out. Nothing else.”. But it looks like we’ll have to wait for an official trailer to be released until we hear some dialogue from both Ellie and Joel.
