Odyssey Neo G7 is the first Samsung gaming monitor with Mini LED

On the occasion of Computex 2022, Samsung has renewed its lineup of gaming monitors, adding to the already vast family of products the new Odyssey Neo G7 and Odyssey Neo G4, the latter available in two variants.

Odyssey Neo G7 has a diagonal of 32 inches, is equipped with a 4K VA panel with 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 range, 165Hz refresh rate and 1000R curvature, with Quantum Mini LED backlight with 1196 local dimming zones and peak brightness that touches 1000 nits.




The new Odyssey Neo G4 instead have two models, differentiated only by the size of the diagonal: one is from 25 inches, the other 27 inches. Both also boast a Full HD IPS panel with a refresh rate of 240Hz and a response time of 1ms, key features for excellent performance in games; the maximum brightness reaches 400 nits, while the sRGB space coverage is 99%.

Also in this case we find compatibility with AMD FreeSync Premium and G-Sync, in addition to the features listed above such as Black Equalizer and so on. In terms of ports, we have two HDMI 2.0, a DisplayPort 1.2 and a 3.5mm jack available.
