Michelle Pfeiffer would return as Catwoman

The last time we saw Michelle Pfeiffer play Catwoman was in Tim Burton's Batman Returns, which divided DC comic fans, unsure if the film really captured the spirit of Batman. But they were certain about one thing: Pfeiffer's portrayal of Catwoman is one of the strongest elements of the film. Michelle Pfeiffer: the return of Catwoman?

Selina Kyle's character after Michelle Pfeiffer was played by Anne Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises of 2008 and by Halle Berry in Catwoman in 2004. In The Batman, the new film directed by Matt Reeves, Selina instead has the face of Zoe Kravitz.

Catwoman has an almost impossible combination of sexy, ironic, tragic, dangerous. And more simply, it would depend on the context, but yes, I would take that into consideration.

Pfeiffer is currently promoting The First Lady, the new Showtime series that will follow some of the most famous and impactful wives of US presidents. Additionally, the actress is still working with Marvel after debuting as Janet van Dyne in Ant-Man and the Wasp and Avengers: Endgame.

It would be great to have the two actors back together on the same set, given the strong chemistry Pfeiffer had with Keaton in Batman Returns. For now, nothing is certain but the possibility exists, so let's stay with our ears open.
