Khadas VIM4 far outstrips Raspberry Pi 4 in Sysbench

Khadas VIM4 is a rather powerful Single Board Computer, which can count on the computational capacity of an eight-core ARM processor accompanied by 8GB of RAM. Obviously, when we talk about devices of this kind, the first thought is to compare its specifications with the much better known Raspberry Pi 4.

The YouTuber ETA PRIME has recently published an interesting video, which you can find as usual at the bottom of this news, in which he carries out various tests on Khadas VIM4 and the results are really surprising, as the board exceeds (and not even slightly) Raspberry Pi 4. For example, the execution of the Sysbench test took only 10 seconds, compared to 36 seconds of an overclocked Raspberry Pi 4.

Khadas VIM4 is certainly more performing than a more common Raspberry Pi 4. As for the specifications, the board is equipped with an Octa-core SoC with high-power Cortex-A73 and high-efficiency Cortex-A53 (accompanied by a Mali G52 MP8 GPU), a maximum of 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM running at 2,016MHz, 40-pin GPIO (it is not clear if it is compatible with that of the Raspberry Pi), an Ethernet connector, WiFi 6 network card and Bluetooth 5.1, M.2 SSD slot, micro SD and various USB ports, as well as an HDMI output and input.

It is undoubtedly an interesting product for those who want to have a device fast enough for tasks in a very small format. Khadas VIM4 can be purchased directly on the official website at a price of $ 199.99 for the card alone and $ 219.90 complete with cooling kit (which includes fan and heatsink).
