The first preview photos of the Interview with the Vampire series

AMC has shared new preview photos of its upcoming series Interview With The Vampire, the new adaptation of the novel by Anne Rice after the famous film adaptation in 1994, with the film directed by Neil Jordan starring Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, Christian Slater and a very young Kirsten Dunst. Let's see them together.

The television series Interview with the Vampire should consist of 8 episodes, written on a screenplay by Rolin Jones (Weeds, Boardwalk Empire ), who is also the series executive producer. Alan Taylor will direct the first two episodes and will work side-by-side with Jones to produce the show. Filming is well underway and the plan is to release the series in the course of 2022 on AMC and AMC + (details for a possible release in Italy are still unknown).

The photos show Sam Reid as Lestat de Lioncourt and Game of Thrones actor Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac. Judging by the clothes and the setting, it seems that this part of the story is set at the turn of the 20th century in New Orleans. The two characters seem to be busy spending an evening of gambling and live performances in a night club.
