Razer presents Leviathan V2

Razer recently announced the new Leviathan V2 soundbar, a product intended for desktop PCs successor to the Leviathan released in 2014.

The new Razer soundbar features an RGB LED strip at the bottom that can be programmed using Razer software Synapse and interchangeable feet that allow you to manage the inclination according to your preferences. The Leviathan V2, with a power of 65 W, features two full-range drivers and two tweeters with the addition, compared to the previous model, of passive radiators on the rear to manage the bass. At the top there are buttons for on / off, volume control and BT connection. The Leviathan V2 is lighter than the previous model unlike the external subwoofer which is heavier.

The Verge has carried out a review praising the powerful sound, calling it “direct, clear and robust”, promoting it even when listening to music. On the other hand, one of the defects found is the total absence of HDMI ports, 3.5 mm jacks and optical outputs. The Leviathan V2 is only equipped with USB ports and supports Bluetooth 5.2, which appears to be the only way to connect the soundbar to other devices such as TVs, but without THX Spatial Audio. Overall, the Leviathan V2 is assigned a score of 7.

The Razer Leviathan V2 is priced at € 249.99 and can be purchased through the official Razer website.
