LEGO and Epic Games join forces to create a metaverse dedicated to children

Just a few moments ago, an unexpected announcement arrived. LEGO and Epic Games, the two giants of global entertainment, have just announced that they have joined forces in favor of the creation of a virtual space entirely dedicated to children. In a nutshell, the two companies have in mind to create a new metaverse full of creative experiences that will allow the little ones to play, experiment, join and have fun in a digital place tailor-made for them.

As stated by the two companies in the release, this new digital experience will be suitable for families and will allow children to have access to tools that will allow them to become not only creators, but will also offer them a series of incredible opportunities to play in a safe and positive space. "LEGO has captured the imaginations of children and adults through creative play for nearly a century and we are thrilled to come together to build a space in the metaverse that is fun and made for children and families," said Tim Sweeney, CEO and founder of Epic Games.

As the concept of the metaverse evolves, it's being reshaped how people meet, play, work, learn and interact in a three-dimensional virtual world. That's why the LEGO Group and Epic Games have decided to combine their vast experience to ensure that this metaverse is designed with the well-being of children around the world in mind.
