Jean Todt's Ferrari Testarossa is on sale

A truly unique and iconic Ferrari will soon be able to change owners: this is the specimen that belonged to the former CEO of Ferrari (and Scuderia Ferrari) and former FIA President, Jean Todt. Registered in the early 90s, more precisely in January 1991, it represents one of the most exclusive cars of the important French executive. The star of numerous film scenes, the Ferrari Testarossa is one of the most successful cars of the famous designer Pininfarina.

The example for sale, needless to say, is in the splendid and classic Rosso Corsa color, with Connolly leather interior signed directly by the former CEO. Under the hood pulsates a mammoth 5-liter V12, an engine that is nowadays impossible to admire due to its emissions, with 390 horsepower and 490 Nm of maximum torque. The performance of this supercar today no longer impresses, but for the record we remind you that the 0-100 is covered in just under 6 seconds, practically the time of a Hyundai i30N, and the top speed is 290 km / h.

The car exhibited by the famous Milanese dealer Rossocorsa goes beyond the level of average prices, perhaps due to the history of the car itself or the extremely low mileage, just 8,200 km. The last service dates back to 2019, but the car was certified by Rossocorsa Classiche. Born as the heir of the 512BB, the Ferrari Testarossa was subsequently replaced by the berlinetta 550 Maranello which remained in production until the early 2000s. To buy this splendid and almost immaculate specimen, just under 200 thousand euros are needed which, to give you a measure with modern times, that's about the amount you'd spend on a Porsche 911 (992) Turbo, like the one we tested a few weeks ago.

If you are interested in the Testarossa but intend to embrace electrification more, several models have been electrified with various types of battery-powered engines, including one from Tesla.
