Il Corvo reboot will happen! Chosen Bill Skarsgård as the protagonist

After years of real production limbo, the reboot of Il Corvo will take place and the studios have already found the lead actor and director. According to the exclusive of The Hollywood Reporter, Bill Skarsgård (IT, Deadpool 2) will play the role of Eric Draven in the new cinematic iteration based on the James O'Barr comic (read our interview here).

Il Corvo reboot will take place

It seems that pre-production of the reboot has already started, while the actual shooting will start in June between Prague and Munich. The budget available to Sony is around 50 million dollars. Il Corvo reboot will be directed by Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman, Ghost in the Shell) with a screenplay by Zach Baylin (King Richard).

Released in 1994, Il Corvo quickly became a real cult, catapulting Brandon Lee into the Hollywood stratosphere. It grossed $ 170 million at the box office and was unfortunately characterized by the untimely death of the well-known actor, the victim of a fatal accident on the set.

The film then gave birth to three sequels, the last of which was released in 2005. There was also a TV series called The Crow: Stairway to Heaven, which aired from '98 to '99.

Waiting for new information, we recommend that you retrieve the Blu-Ray of the film with Brandon Lee and the comic by James O’Barr.
