Free PC Games: Steam offers two limited-time free trials, hurry up!

Free PC Games

After the couple of free games given away yesterday by the Epic Games Store, today it is Steam that gives us the opportunity to try two other titles on the Valve store for a limited period. As usual, this week too we were able to play several free titles, and for the upcoming weekend we are spoiled for choice on how to spend it videogame speaking. Without adding anything else, let's now see in detail what are the two experiences proposed by Steam in these hours.

Steam valve The first of the two free trials proposed by Steam these days is Squad, a Military-themed online multiplayer title that offers matches on expansive 50 vs 50 battlefields. The title is all about a realistic experience and coordination of movements with your teammates. If you are interested in trying this first person shooter over the weekend, you can get the free trial of Squad at this address.| ); }

Squad will be playable for free throughout the weekend, while for The Elder Scrolls Online the free trial will end on April 26th. In any case, we advise you to hurry up so as to have more time available to test these two titles.

Epic’s next free game is Diablo x Minecraft in co-op chaos

Congratulations, you have unlocked another Thursday! That means it’s time for a new batch of free PC games on the Epic Games Store, as well as a peek on what’ll be on offer next week. This week, you can pick up the excellent XCOM 2 and mountain-climbing roguelike Insurmountable. Next week, they’ll be replaced by the voxel-based co-op game Riverbond.

Riverbond is about jumping into a brightly coloured voxel-based world and breaking things. Sure, there’s always a mission to complete, but the odds are good that it involves breaking stuff. You’ll face down hordes of cute enemies, as well as over-the-top bosses, and you can do that either solo or as part of a co-op team of up to four players.

It’s good, clean fun – it’s easy to jump into and immediately get into the action, and there’s plenty of stuff to find, weapons and other power-ups are hidden around the maps in treasure chests, so if you want to go hunting for goodies, you’ll definitely be rewarded.

Here’s the trailer:

Riverbond will be free to own on the Epic Games Store starting April 21 at 8am PDT / 11am EDT / 4pm GMT.
