Dynit announces the Italian dubbing of the second season of Demon Slayer

Dynit has announced the acquisition of the rights of the second season of Demon Slayer, inspired by the manga of the same name written and drawn by Koyoharu Gotouge and adaptation of the narrative arc of the Yoshiwara Entertainment District (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yukaku-hen), gone in wave 13 February 2022 and available on Crunchyroll in subtitled version. The season will be dubbed in Italian with the cast of the first and the feature film Demon Slayer: Mugen Train. However, it is not known whether it will be dubbed only for the home video market or if it will be made available, as in the case of the first season, on streaming platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

Demon Slayer: the anime and manga

The first anime season of Demon Slayer, by the Ufotable studio and consisting of 26 episodes, premiered in April 2019. Hikaru Kondo produced the anime, Haruo Sotozaki took care of of the direction, Yuki Kajiura and Gō Shiina of the soundtrack, while Akira Matsushima of the character design. The season is available in Italy on VVVVID, Amazon Prime Video and Netflix.

The franchise also inspired a film Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, released in Japanese cinemas on October 16, 2020 while in Italy it was screened on January 17, 18 and 19 thanks to Dynit. We remind you that the third season of Demon Slayer has already been confirmed by the animation studio Ufotable.

As for the manga, Koyoharu Gotouge began the serialization on Shueisha's weekly manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2016 The series in Japan ended in May 2020. In Italy the manga is published by Star Comics and you can find it on Amazon:
