About the light novel

A manga adaptation with illustrations by Kaname Seu has begun serialization in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive magazine in May 2020. In August 2021, its chapters were collected in two tankōbon volumes.

Here is the official synopsis:

After a horrific war devastated the general population, governments around the world have resorted to a more elusive tactic to carry out their agenda: a war waged in the shadows. Lily, a beautiful white-haired girl, is a student at one of the many institutes that train young people to become capable spies. Unfortunately, despite her having obtained good marks in written exams, she can barely pass the practical tests. With no real-world skills, his hopes of graduating are slim until she is offered the chance to join the mysterious “Tomoshibi” team and take part in an impractical mission. Excited by the prospect of working with the elite, she eagerly accepts. However, she is left speechless when she arrives at the Kagerou Palace and Tomoshibi's true purpose and desperate situation come to light. Accompanied by other annoying spies and a mysterious young man who leads the operation, Lily realizes that this is not the ideal escape she had imagined.
