GTA 5, is Los Santos on PS5 really better than on PS4? Here is the comparison

GTA 5

We're sure the criticism will continue, but in the end, gamers will have to get over it: GTA 5 is now ready to go on sale for PS5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. The next gen version of the Rockstar Games title, which originally debuted on PS3 and Xbox 360 way back in 2013, it will arrive on next-generation consoles starting tomorrow, March 15, 2022.

To better prepare for day one of GTA 5, the colleagues of VGC have decided to publish a series of content to allow us to take a preview look at the next gen versions of the Rockstar Games masterpiece. These contents, in detail, are a gameplay video of 30 minutes, captured on PS5 with Ray Tracing active, and a series of images that compare the version for the latest Sony home console with PS4.

GTA 5 is now ready to debut on PS5 and Xbox consoles. The Rockstar Games title is one of the most successful games ever and with these two new versions we are facing the fourth makeover, if we also include the PC version which debuted shortly after the PS4 and Xbox One ones. A more unique than rare case in the history of entertainment, which is unlikely to be matched.

You can play GTA 5 on next gen consoles using Xbox Series S: find the Microsoft platform on Amazon.

GTA 5 loads around 3 times faster on PS5 than PS4

GTA V, which arrives on current generation platforms on March 15, 2022, loads around 3 times faster than its PS4 version, VGC has found.

In our testing, which saw us booting the game from the main menu into the story mode, we found that the PS5 version loaded in around 27 seconds, whereas the PS4 version takes over a minute and a half.

While the PS5 version doesn’t quite load as quickly as many other flagship titles on the system, such as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which can load the entire game in a few seconds, it’s still a huge improvement.

We’ve also been taking a look at how the game’s new fidelity mode stacks up against the PS4, a full gallery comparing the two can be found here.

VGC has captured the first 30 minutes of Grand Theft Auto V running on PlayStation 5, and you can find that here.

Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online are due to release to the public on PS5 and</a> Xbox Series X|S on March 15. The full GTA V package been discounted by 75% on PS5, and 50% on Xbox Series X|S.

This appears to be due to a previously announced promotion, which sees GTA Online available for PlayStation Plus subscribers to claim for free on PlayStation 5 for the next three months.

The PlayStation 5 version of Grand Theft Auto V’s “Story Mode” is currently listed for pre-order for just £8.75 / $9.99 on the PlayStation Store.

However, on Xbox Series X/S the Story Mode and GTA Online costs £17.49 / $19.99, while GTA Online is available separately for £8.99 / $9.99 (and requires Xbox Live Gold).

This means to buy both modes, PlayStation 5 owners will only have to spend £8.75 / $9.99, whereas Xbox Series X/S owners will have to spend double at £17.49 / $19.99.
