Maradona: Sogno Benedetto will follow the triumphs and challenges of the legendary Diego Armando Maradona. The series stars Nazareno Casero (Historia de un Clan), Juan Palomino (Magnifica 70) and Nicolas Goldschmidt (Supermax), who will put the face of the Pibe de Oro in the various stages of his life and his prolific career. From humble beginnings in Villa Fiorito, in his native Argentina, to his revolutionary career at Barcelona and then at Naples, the series will narrate his key role in leading his national team to win the World Cup in Mexico in 1986. Also featured in the series are Julieta Cardinali (En Terapia, Valentin), Laura Esquivel (Patito Feo), Mercedes Morán (The motorcycle diaries, El Reino), Pepe Monje (Amor enustod), Peter Lanzani (El Clan, El Reino) .Here is the trailer:
Maradona: Sogno Benedetto is made up of 10 one-hour episodes that tell the key moments in the life and career of the legendary football player; the first 5 episodes will be available from October 29 and then as follows: November 5, episodes 6 and 7, November 12, episode 8, November 19, episode 9, November 26, episode 10
The series, produced by BTF Media, in co-production with Dhana Media and Latin We, was shot in Argentina, Spain, Italy, Uruguay and Mexico Alejandro Aimetta is showrunner of the series and director of the episodes shot in Argentina, Mexico and Uruguay, and wrote the screenplay with Guillermo Salmerón (El Marginal) and Silvina Olschansky (El Marginal). Roger Gual and Edoardo De Angelis directed the episodes set in Spain and Italy respectively. The executive producers are Francisco Cordero, Liliana Moyano, Mari Urdaneta, Ricardo Coeto and Luis Balaguer.

Maradona, who hailed from Argentina, was one of the two joint winners of the Fifa Player of the 20th century. Amazon Prime Video has come up with an exclusive 10 episodes series focusing on the life of Maradona. Maradona: Blessed Dream will also be available in five Indian languages. The streaming platform recently dropped the series' trailer.
The OTT giant Amazon Prime Video recently unveiled the official trailer of the upcoming series Maradona: Blessed Dream. The biopic series will follow the triumphs, challenges and controversies of the legendary football player, Maradona. The series' trailer gave some insights into the story. The show is expected to start from Maradona's humble beginnings in Argentina. It will gradually show the rise of his game-changing career through Barcelona and Napoli. It will also add his role in taking his team to the World Cup in Mexico in 1986. The series will debut on the streaming service from October 29. It casts Juan Palomino, Nazareno Casero and Nicolas Goldschmidt portraying Maradona through different stages of his life. It also casts Pepe Monje, Julieta Cardinali, Laura Esquivel, Peter Lanzani, and Mercedes Moran in pivotal roles. Here is the episode release schedule of the upcoming series.
The series is set to release in India in five languages. Alongside English, the series will also be available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali. The series will be available in India on the OTT platform from October 29. The series is jointly releasing in 240 countries and territories across the world. Talking about the series' availability in multiple languages, Sushant Sreeram, Director, Marketing, Amazon Prime Video India said Maradona's story is inspiring, enjoyable and relatable for everyone.
