PS Now: These games are waiting for you in October 2021

PS Now

Just in time for autumn, Sony is delivering a new range of blockbusters for the Playstation Now subscription service. It starts with the action adventure The Last of Us Part 2 by developer Naughty Dog, which was released for PS4 last year. The story takes place four years after the events of The Last of Us, the first part of the series. While we experienced this from the point of view of the smuggler Joel, in Part 2 we experience the gloomy post-apocalyptic world from the point of view of the meanwhile adult protagonist Ellie. The atmospheric environment and the gripping story quickly cast a spell over every player. The Last of Us Part 2 will be available until January 3rd, 2022.

It continues with a universe that also shows the player the human abysses and destructive mania. It's Fallout 76, this title offers the first time the opportunity to explore the Wasteland together with friends. However, if you prefer to fight your way through raider hordes and mole rats in single player, you can still do so. After justified criticism of the game's release, Bethesda made improvements last year with the Wastelanders update. Although the additions make sense, Fallout 76 continues to struggle with issues such as the often imprecise combat system. You can find more information about the game in our review. For those who like it a bit friendlier, the colorful world of the revised retro classic and role-playing game Final Fantasy 8: Remastered is probably suitable. This will be followed by four more Final Fantasy titles in the next few months.
