Notepad prepares for a restyle in Windows 11

Notepad, known in Italy as "Notepad", is certainly one of the applications integrated by default in the most known and used Windows operating systems, probably together with Paint, but has not been substantially updated for some time now, presenting the same cosmetics and options . Apparently, as confirmed by some screenshots that have appeared on the net, Microsoft is working on a restyling of the application, in order to look its best in Windows 11 with a renewed graphic interface. According to FireCube Studios (as reported by Windows Central colleagues), the images were originally posted by an engineer from the same Redmond company before being removed (but, fortunately, they were saved just in time).

Obviously, as these are unofficial images, they will probably not fully reflect the final appearance of the product, but we can already see the adoption of Fluent Design complete with a WinUi menu bar. Microsoft has used the launch of Windows 11 to revamp the overall design of the applications that run on its operating system, giving everything a more modern look. Recall that Notepad (or Notepad) is almost thirty years old and has been part of the Microsoft Store since April 2020, so as to offer the possibility of updating it separately from the operating system; ideal situation also for the next launch of its new version.
