Rockstar Games is postponing the release date of GTA 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. On the occasion of the current PS5 showcase, the developers announce that the release of the technically improved Enhanced Edition is now planned for March 2022. They do not give a specific date. Previously, the creators had aimed to release Grand Theft Auto 5 on November 11th for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. "Even though we are extremely excited to release GTA 5 for the latest generation of consoles, we need a few more months to fine-tune the game," writes Rockstar Games on its website.

In the near future, the developers want to submit additional information on the expanded and improved versions, "including the new independent version of GTA Online, which will also appear in March for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S". For GTA 5 (buy now € 179.99 / € 13.99), the developers promise "a multitude of technical and graphical improvements and performance enhancements for selected vehicles in GTA Online over the entire game experience".
