On the occasion of Gamescom 2021, Frontier Developments has announced the official release date of Jurassic World Evolution 2: November 9, 2021. The game will be launched simultaneously on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S, PS4 and Xbox One.

Following the roaring success of Jurassic World Evolution, the stunning sequel offers players an original Campaign mode, expanded building options, more customization choices, and the all-new Chaos Theory mode where they can play through "what" scenarios if "of all five films in the Jurassic World franchise from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment.

Jurassic World Evolution 2: Deluxe Edition also announced, in digital format, which will give access to three exclusive vehicle skins inspired by the Dinosaur Protection Group, six courtesy signs for guests and five other majestic prehistoric species from add to their parks in Challenge and Sandbox modes, including terrestrial dinosaurs, sea reptiles, and flying reptiles ... plus of course the base game.

Going beyond the Muertes Islands, Jurassic World Evolution 2 takes place in distinct environments ranging from dense forests and rocky deserts to sunny tropics, each with its own terrain and unique environmental challenges. In Campaign mode, players can immerse themselves in an original Jurassic World story following the events of Jurassic World - Kingdom Destroyed. With the help of Claire Dearing (voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard) and Dr. Ian Malcolm (voiced by Jeff Goldblum), players will help guide the DFW (Department of Fish and Wildlife) efforts in the continental United States by establishing new facilities. in different locations in order to control, preserve and contain the wild dinosaurs.

Another great addition to Jurassic World Evolution 2 is the brand new Chaos Theory mode. Here, players can revisit pivotal moments from the Jurassic World film series and add their own mark in a series of "what if" scenarios. Whether it's fulfilling John Hammond's dream of an operational Jurassic Park, showing a T. rex in the San Diego Amphitheater, or building and running your own Jurassic World with the support of iconic characters like Dr. Henry Wu ( voiced by BD Wong), players can experience the events of their favorite movies like never before while at the helm of handling new challenges and altering results.

For those looking to unleash their creativity, Sandbox mode gives players all the tools they need to create their ultimate Jurassic Park or Jurassic World dinosaur park. Challenge mode allows players to test their management skills in a variety of different missions with increasing difficulty, trying to get the best rating of the park in the shortest possible time.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 features over 75 breathtaking prehistoric species to discover, including highly sought-after flying and marine reptiles and community-beloved returning dinosaurs. These majestic species feel more alive than ever as they preside over their territory and exhibit brand new behaviors when interacting with each other, fighting for dominance and reacting intelligently to the world around them. Through bioengineering, players can customize their dinosaurs with bold new colors and patterns and alter their genomes to discover new traits to unlock as they strive to create the ultimate dinosaur park.

'Jurassic World Evolution 2' brings dino world-building to PC and consoles November 9th

Jurassic World Evolution 2, the next installment in everyone's favorite dinosaur-based park-management franchise, is heading to Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 4, PS5 and PC on November 9th. Pre-orders are open now, and buying the game early will net players three vehicle skins inspired by the 1997 film, The Lost World: Jurassic Park.


Jurassic World Evolution 2 allows players to build, manage and mess around in a world of Spielberg-inspired dinosaurs. There are four modes: campaign, chaos theory, challenge and sandbox. Campaign mode takes players through a narrative arc set after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the 2018 movie. Chaos theory presents classic moments from the film franchise, but with a twist, playing out 'what if' scenarios. Challenge is the mode for folks who want to test their dino-rearing skills, while sandbox is the creative way to play.
