Insurgency Sandstorm
Distributor Maximum Games has announced via Twitter that Insurgency Sandstorm is coming, after years of delay compared to the PC version, also on PS4 and Xbox One. The release date of the console version of the shooter is September 29, 2021, at least as indicated by various resale sites.Technically, as you can see below, Maximum Games - which only deals with the physical version of the game - did not indicate the release date of Insurgency Sandstorm for PS4 and Xbox One, but the tweet refers to the Game UK resale site, which reports the release date September 29, 2021. GameStop USA also reports as the release date September 29 2021.
The tweet also includes a video that allows us to see some game sequences. The Insurgency Sandstorm video states: "The ultimate tactical shooter is coming to console", "feel every bullet, fear every impact", "immersive audio design", "get ready for intense team combat", "play match op and competitive "," brutally real ". The movie, as you can see, reports as a release date only 2021.
For the moment, we have to consider this release date as unofficial: the game's site does not indicate any information regarding the release date and the same is for the developer site, New World. Even the site of Focus Home Interactive, publisher of the game, does not report any information about it. Recall that Insurgency Sandstorm has been available on PC since 2018.

Insurgency: Sandstorm can finally be preordered with a possible September release
Maximum Games has announced in a tweet that preorders are now available for its upcoming tactical FPS, Insurgency: Sandstorm, which, according to the retail listings, should launch on September 29th.After its indefinite delay last year, it looks like we’ll finally be able to play Insurgency: Sandstorm from September 29th — at least that’s what the retail listing on Game UK says (we've contacted Maximum Games for conformation). Maximum Games dropped a post on Twitter stating that preorders are now open for the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game. Unfortunately, there’s still no news on the rumoured Xbox Series X|S optimised versions, though.Insurgency: Sandstorm has had quite the bumpy ride when it comes to delays (thanks, VG247) considering the game was originally supposed to launch back in 2018, then 2019. It was then pushed to Spring 2020 and finally delayed indefinitely. Hopefully, this is the end of the game’s delays, and we can be playing the tactical FPS in September.
