DAB Motor unveils Concept-E

By now, more and more electric scooters and electric motorcycles continue to arrive on the market. The manufacturers seem to design and develop these products - in most cases - to be used in cities, therefore for urban mobility, or to travel short distances. Well, it would seem that the French manufacturer DAB Motor - recently - has unveiled its first electric motorcycle, the Concept-E. However, as you can tell from the name itself, it is a prototype of a battery-powered two-wheeler. One of the aspects that, at first glance, strikes the most is its decidedly minimalist design.

For the moment, DAB Motor has not yet revealed much about what the details of the concept are, but - needless to underline that - the two-wheeled electric vehicle has been specially designed for use in urban centers. It would also seem that the bike can also be driven by those who are in possession of the A1 license, thanks to the presence of a 10 kW electric motor. Therefore, the French manufacturer created the Concept-E based on the characteristics of a 125 cc endothermic model. Apparently, the two-wheeled vehicle engine is powered by a 4.7 kWh battery, but there is no information on what the range should be and the time required to recharge the electric motorcycle.

In any case, it would seem that the Concept-E is an extremely easy and comfortable two-wheeled vehicle to drive through the city streets. Despite its simple and essential appearance, it is - at the same time - a very innovative vehicle. Just think of the frame made of carbon fiber - a feature that makes the vehicle even lighter -, the Öhlins suspension and the Beringe brakes. In the part below the handlebar there is also a small screen on which some information is illustrated. Obviously, being a concept, some features may not exist - or be different - when the French manufacturer decides to produce the Concept-E in series.
