Assassin's Creed Infinity

Assassin's Creed Infinity will not arrive soon: according to journalist Jason Schreier it will take at least three years for the platform announced by Ubisoft to make its debut, so we are talking about a release in 2024 or even later.

Featured yesterday as a live service breakthrough for the series, Assassin's Creed Infinity will basically be a hub through which we will be able to access new stories, new content and, in general, everything that revolves around the Assassin's Creed universe.

Let's talk in practice of the realization of what Ubisoft itself had imagined in its games with Abstergo Entertainment, only that we will not have to connect to an Animus to be able to access those experiences: a PC, a PS5 or an Xbox Series X | S .

A time horizon of this type, of course, implies that Ubisoft will not immediately abandon the traditional annual releases of Assassin's Creed, and Schreier himself confirms it to a user who asks him if therefore the French company will put aside the approach used so far for the franchise.

"It is important to underline that it will take at least three years for the project to see the light", wrote the journalist. "The details are still vague, but the basic idea is that Infinity is a huge online platform capable of containing different environments and games. I don't know if or how multiplayer will play a role in all of this."
