The anime adaptation debuted on the MBS channel on April 10, and Crunchyroll is simulcasting the episodes with Japan.
The anime is directed by Koichi Hatsumi (Berserk: The Golden Age I - The King's Egg, Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga, Deadman Wonderland, Gangsta) at Liden Films (The Legend of Arslan ). Yasuyuki Muto (Basilisk, Deadman Wonderland, Sengoku Basara - Samurai Kings) takes care of the script while Kenichi Ohnuki (Golden Kamui, Gundam Build Fighters) and Keiko Ota (Ace Attorney) take care of the character design. Satoki Iida (A ssassination Classroom) is the sound director and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Children of the Whales, Dr. Stone, Jujutsu Kaisen) composes the soundtrack.
Warner Bros. Japan is making a live-action film of the manga, scheduled for July 9 (it was initially supposed to be released in Japan in October 2020). Tsutomu Hanabusa (live-action Kakegurui, Miseinen dakedo Kodomo ja Nai) is credited as director of the film.
