Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin was without a doubt one of the most interesting surprises of the last live Square Enix Presents. The conference of the Japanese company during E3 2021 has revealed some interesting news, but after being revealed in advance by an insider, finally the souls-like themed Final Fantasy developed by Team Ninja is reality. Moreover, Square Enix had offered players on PS5 the opportunity to try a demo of the title exclusively, but not everything went as planned.

The trial version of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, for a long series of issues, it was not playable in the first 24 hours of release, which caused general discontent among fans. Only a few days ago Square Enix managed to publish an update that allowed everyone to start and try the title without problems. Given that the demo has a usage period, which would have ended on June 24, 2021, many had not taken very well the loss of a day in which it would have been possible to play.

For this reason, via an interview published on Famitsu and then on the official website of the company, Square Enix has announced that the trial version of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will be extended by two days, and therefore will now last until June 26, 2021. All ' Inside the interview, Nomura explains that Stranger of Paradise is not a sequel or a prequel to the original Final Fantasy, but that the two games share the same setting.

In addition, game director Daisuke Inoue offers some clarification on the meaning of the title: “Strangers of Paradise means exactly what it is, that these strangers are in the land of heaven. Likewise, it could mean 'people who shouldn't be in Heaven' ". The title seems to be something more than a simple reworking of the first chapter of Final Fantasy, which makes it even more interesting.
