Will Demon's Souls arrive with its brilliant remake on PS4 too? Unfortunately not: the rumor is false, according to what Lance McDonald stated on Twitter.The author of the famous Bloodborne mod took a look at the rumors that have been circulating in recent days about the sighting of Demon's Souls for PS4 in the PlayStation Store database, categorically disproving them.
"That database string is four years old, and whoever spotted it managed to do so without getting a single metadata element to verify it in any way ", wrote McDonald.
So no, apparently the remake of Demon's Souls will remain a PS5 exclusive and Sony has no intention of bringing it to its now former flagship, although obviously this would have made a lot of users happy.
The hope is that the same speech does not apply to other recent findings in the databases, in this case concerning the Epic Games Store and two titles in particular: Final Fantasy 7 Remake for PC and Alan Wake Remastered.
