According to the information on the PlayStation Blog, the Midnight Black model has two different shades of black with light gray details. Sony used space in the night sky as inspiration. Cosmic Red has been inspired by the red tones of the cosmos. The controller offers the color combination red and black. Rumors of two DualSense models surfaced on the Internet at the beginning of the week. These rumors have now been officially confirmed with the announcement.

Apart from the colors, nothing changes in the functions of the DualSense controller. Furthermore, features such as haptic feedback or adaptive triggers are built in, which can also be found in the supplied model in white. When the PS5 was released, we took a closer look at the controller with Astro's Playroom. A few days ago, rumors also surfaced about a new variant of the PS5, which should include changes to the built-in hardware. Sony wants to get the demand under control.
