My Hero Academia - Kohei Horikoshi talks about the ending

Kohei Horikoshi recently talked about the ending of the manga of My Hero Academia, of which he is the writer and illustrator on Weekly Shonen Jump, through the pages of the spring issue of Jump GIGA, a periodical magazine published by the Shueisha publishing house available for purchase in Japan and online stores.

Through the new issue of the magazine (find the statement on ANN), almost entirely dedicated to My Hero Academia, Kohei Horikoshi-sensei has confirmed that the road to reaching the manga's ending has been revealed longer than expected, but it is still that epilogue decided from the real beginning of the series.

We remember that the manga has officially entered its final narrative arc starting from Chapter 307 of the manga (you can buy the last little volume released in Italy).

Now all that remains is to understand how far the author and his staff intend to arrive, but, as a matter of practice, it is certain that the ending will not n short times.

My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia is made up of four seasons all available in free streaming on the VVVVID platform. The first four seasons and the OAVs were broadcast unencrypted by Mediaset networks, obviously dubbed in Italian, between 2018 and 2021. You can recover the series on home video thanks to Dynit which created 3 blu-ray boxes for the first two seasons , also with Italian audio, My Hero Academia Season 1, My Hero Academia Season 2 - Box 1 and My Hero Academia Season 2 - Box 2.

Season 5 is currently being simulcasted on VVVVID. Two films are also connected to the anime series: Two Heroes and HEROES RISING, both of which were also released for Dynit. A third animated film has also been announced, details in this article!

The anime is based on the manga of the same name written and drawn by Kōhei Horikoshi, which is still being published. The manga is published in Italy by Edizioni Star Comics which has published 27 volumes so far.

For those unfamiliar with here is a brief synopsis of the series:

In a world where being superheroes is normal , being born without particular powers is equivalent to a real misfortune. Izuku Midoriya will have to go all out to get a superpower, and despite the feat it seems impossible that anyone will end up noticing his abilities.
