Elden Ring: New video for the action RPG of the Dark Souls makers leaked

Elden Ring

Fans must continue to be patient for news about Elden Ring. New information doesn't seem to be long in coming: Last week we reported on indications of an imminent presentation of the upcoming action role-playing game from the makers of Dark Souls. As the website VGC now reports, a new video clip about Elden Ring recently appeared. The material distributed via 4Chan shows filmed scenes that could have come from a trailer for the action role-playing game. According to VGC, the clip contains the same watermark from Bandai Namco as in the leak from March this year.

Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that the clip is from the same leak that reportedly was a year-old work-in-progress Material contained. It is therefore unlikely that the clip is linked to an imminent performance. Since the announcement at E3 2019, fans have been eagerly awaiting new material about Elden Ring. After all: The release seems to be planned for the next twelve months.

Feast Your Eyes On This Leaked ‘Elden Ring’ Footage

FromSoftware’s genius marketing strategy continues to be pure genius. By telling us nothing, we want everything.

Even very short leaked clips of game footage that show us almost nothing. That’s the most recent leak for the upcoming game from the Dark Souls creator and the author of Game Of Thrones.

The leak shows grim stone statues holding spears crouching over what could be sarcophaguses before shifting to what appears to be a high, circular atrium of sorts, with light shining from far above.

Check it out:

It’s not much, but it’s better than nothing. Even in low-definition, it certainly looks like a Souls game—whether or not it actually is Elden Ring or not. You can never be sure with leaks.

Elden Ring will come out someday. Probably long before George R.R. Martin’s next Thrones book, The Winds Of Winter.
