Buying a PS5 is still like a game of patience: Although dealers occasionally have additional stocks on sale, the - mostly small - contingents are sold out within a few minutes. It seems impossible that this situation will change significantly in the coming months. "I do not think that the demand for the PlayStation 5 will decrease this year," commented Sony CFO Hiroki Totoki, as reported by Bloomberg. At a conference with analysts, he added: "Even if we secure more devices and produce many more PS5 units in the next year, the supply will probably not be able to meet the high demand." that it is extremely unlikely to be able to resolve the supply bottlenecks of the PS5 (buy now) in the immediate future. Totoki also announced that Sony is currently investigating various ways to cope with the global chip shortage - including possible alternative hardware designs and other suppliers. "As I said before, we have set ourselves the goal of selling more PS5 consoles than the PlayStation 4 in the second year. But can we increase the offer significantly? The retailer ran out of PS5 earlier this week, but released more bundles on Friday which, at the time of writing, were still available online.
The PS5, however, remains sold out at other major U.S. retailers after the restocks Best Buy, Walmart and Antonline released on Thursday all sold out quickly.
Here's a breakdown of the latest PS5 stock information from Target, Amazon, Walmart, GameStop, Antonline, PS Direct, and more.
Amazon PS5 RestockThe PS5 is unavailable at Amazon. A message on the retailer's website states Amazon does not know when, or if, the console will be back in stock.

Antonline PS5 RestockAntonline remains out of PS5 after a limited restock of the Digital Version flew off the shelves on Thursday. The Disc Version of the console, meanwhile, hasn't been in stock since a small restock on April 24.

Best Buy PS5 RestockBest Buy is again out of PS5 after the surprise restock it released on Thursday flew off the shelves.

Costco PS5 RestockThe PS5 is out of stock at Costco, which last restocked the console in April.
