Blizzard Entertainment: Not just Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 in development

Blizzard Entertainment

Blizzard Entertainment is currently developing several games that fans all over the world are eagerly awaiting. In addition to the action role-playing game Diablo 4, the team is also working on the hero shooter Overwatch 2, which will bring some interesting changes. But there are apparently more projects in development than previously thought.

At least that's what IGN magazine said in an interview with Game Director Ion Hazzikostas. He's actually responsible for the online role-playing game World of Warcraft, but thanks to his leadership position he certainly has insight into the great overall plans of Blizzard Entertainment. During the interview, he stated:

"I think Blizzard has long development cycles. The games we make aren't made in a year or two. People have already seen what we're doing with Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 - and they are really looking forward to these games (...) We are also working on other projects. I think in the not too distant future people all over the world will see what we are up to. I can't wait to see to show them. "

Unfortunately, Ion Hazzikosas was unable to elicit further details in this regard, so that there is plenty of room for speculation. It is possible that his statement is alluding to another add-on for the MMO World of Warcraft. However, it sounds like Bluzzard is currently working on some completely new games as well. That would not be entirely surprising, because as early as March of this year there were indications of a previously secret AAA multiplayer game that appears to be in the shooter genre. We are of course still on the ball for you.
