A few days before the release, THQ Nordic and Experiment 101 publish new gameplay scenes for Biomutant. This time, the focus of the new trailers is on game scenes on PS5 and Xbox Series X: The trailers included below show how the new action adventure runs on the current consoles. Biomutant is reported on Xbox Series X in native 4K at 60 fps with dynamic resolution. The PS5 version runs on native 1080p at 60 fps - upscaled to 4K with dynamic resolution.

The developers write about the PS5 video: "The footage shown here was recorded on a commercial version of the PS5. In this build the option for native 4K on PlayStation was deactivated due to stability and performance reasons. The recordings run on native 1080p @ 60fps, which are upscaled to 4k @ 60fps. " The option should remain deactivated in the release version.

In a current FAQ article, the developers recently announced that Biomutant (buy now / 59.99 €) will be available on both PS5 and Xbox Series X in the foreseeable future Will receive independent versions in the future.
