Assassin's Creed: Ubisoft confirms that the saga will follow the style of Valhalla

Assassin's Creed

The Assassin's Creed saga, like all videogame sagas, has evolved over the years and chapters, slowly changing its nature and structure. If the very first chapters were dedicated to stealth and a sufficiently linear advancement, with the most recent games we have moved on to much more open titles, full of secondary content and devoted to action, with various RPG mechanics. Some fans would appreciate a return to basics, while others are very happy with the current structure: well, the latter can rejoice because it seems Ubisoft doesn't want to change in any way.

During a recent financial meeting with investors , Ubisoft has confirmed that the plan for the franchise is to continue building on the basis of the RPG elements of the latest games, namely Valhalla, Odyssey and Origins. The new chapters, therefore, will be similar to the recent trilogy.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Ubisoft claims that this is the direction of the market. Furthermore, we must not forget that the release of Assassin's Creed Valhalla was a record, with more copies sold at D1 than any other chapter in the saga. Clearly fans appreciate what Ubisoft has accomplished and the company's goal is to continue in that direction.

We also know that Ubisoft will focus more on free-to-play games and live service.
