The Suicide Squad Trailer Smashes All Records!

According to director and screenwriter James Gunn, The Suicide Squad was the most viewed adult cinematic trailer in the first week of its release, a world record with over 150 million views overall.

The bloody DC movie trailer, which was released on March 26th, revealed the new look of the characters that make up Rick Flag's (Joel Kinnaman) bizarre team ready to save the world once again : the gorgeous Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Bloodsport (Idris Elba), Peacemaker (John Cena), Polka-Dot Man (David Dastmalchian) and King Shark (voiced by Sylvester Stallone) who are literally looking forward to being torn apart by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis).

Unlike the Suicide Squad that preceded it, directed by David Ayer in 2026 and intended for audiences over the age of 13, this new release has us will present a much more violent and mature version of the Suicide Squad, something much appreciated by John Cena, one of the most recent and prominent acquisitions of the cast.
