Ravensburger has announced the upcoming release of Marvel Villainous: Mischief & Malice, the first expansion for Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power, a board game that uses the same basic game system as Disney Villainous but in a Marvel version (and which you can buy at this link). The new expansion will add Loki, M.O.D.O.K and Madame Masque to the base game, each of which has their own particular goals to achieve.The victory with Loki will happen if we manage to earn and spend ten "mischiefs", obtainable when we play some personality of the Multiverse in one of the other villains' Domains. M.O.D.O.K, on the other hand, will have to try to keep A.I.M.'s loyalty. and activate the Cosmic Cube, while Madame Masque's victory condition is to defeat eight heroes to get her revenge, which is easier said than done, as defeating heroes to fulfill separate contracts is one of the only ways in which he can gain power.
Marvel Villainous is a spinoff of the Disney Villainous game series. Each player takes control of one villain and tries to be the first to complete a specific victory condition. To hinder us, we will obviously find the Marvel superheroes, but we will also have to juggle the diabolical machinations put in place by other players, who can use the Fate cards to hinder the plans of an opponent, attracting the heroes on him or causing other negative effects. However, on occasion, players will also have to work together to tackle events on a global scale, thus simulating the occasional crossovers that occur in comics.
Marvel Villainous: Mischief & Malice will be released on August 1, 2021. The new expansion can be played either alone or combined with the original game and will be offered at the recommended price of $ 24.99.
