Is Assassin's Creed Liberation coming to smartphones? The rumor is circulating but it is false

Is Assassin's Creed Liberation in the pipeline on the App Store and Google Play? The rumor has started circulating on Reddit but it is a fake, since the author has removed the post and apologized to the community.

Assassin's Creed Liberation is the exciting chapter of the saga of Assassin's Creed set before the American Revolution. With an improved gameplay system, immersive storyline and new high definition graphics, Liberation becomes a full part of the Assassin's Creed gameplay experience.

Assassin's Creed Liberation was launched in 2012 on PlayStation Vita as part of the Assassin's Creed III experience and re-released the following year on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, later also on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

According to the source "Assassin's Creed Liberation will run on smartphones with at least 2 GB of RAM (4GB recommended) and will support Bluetooth controllers, as well as presenting an improved technical sector compared to the HD re-release."

All very nice but as said, absolutely false, so much so that the author confessed by subsequently removing the post published on Reddit. Nothing obviously prevents Ubisoft from actually launching Assassin's Creed Liberation on mobile platforms, but the possible announcement is in no way related to this leak.
