Without too much fanfare we discover that Pikachu is obviously the most famous and loved Pokemon ever while in Europe Charizard dominates searches in nine countries: Andorra, Czech Republic, Estonia, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Charmender is the most popular Pokemon in Brazil, Chile and Peru while Eevee is the most loved in Denmark, Finland, Lithuania and Latvia. Unbelievable but true, Bulbasaur is not in the global Top 10.
The Toy Zone report is very detailed and includes specific maps for the various continents, so you can get a better idea of what the monsters are most popular in Asia, Europe, the United States, South America, Australia and Africa. In February, the ranking of the most loved Pokemon in Japan saw Dedenne in first place with Cincinno, Sableye, Snivy, Magnemite and Swadloon following, with Pikachu only in seventh position.
