Lenovo and Dorna Sports renew their partnership in the MotoGP eSport championship

Dorna Sports and Lenovo have renewed their multi-year collaboration agreement, with Lenovo continuing in its important role as partner of the MotoGP eSport championship.

The leading technology company will remain the exclusive supplier of PCs, monitors and gaming accessories for the four live events of the championship giving series players the opportunity to compete using Lenovo Legions.

The collaboration began in 2018, ushering in a new era in the MotoGP eSport championship that since then it has grown more and more. The total number of spectators of eSports events is expected to grow from 454 million to 646 million in 2023.

As the number of live and virtual events increases, the MotoGP eSports championship audience grows in level global, since the partnership began it has exceeded the ceiling of 80 million video views and 10.5 million interactions with fans. held in four meetings between May and November.

The calendar currently plans to start with the Oakley Italian Grand Prix on May 28, 2021, followed by the Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich on August 13, 2021 and the Octo Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera on September 17, 2021.

As always, Valencia and the Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana Grand Prix will host the final round of the season, scheduled for this year on 12 November 2021 when the players will face year the final with the powerful Lenovo Legion PCs.
