Genshin Impact: March 2021 daily rewards, what they are and how to get them

Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact, the popular free to play by miHoYo, offers us for the month of March a whole series of in-game rewards, or a series of useful items for our game. What are they and how can we do to get them? Here is the full explanation.

First of all, you need to connect on a daily basis to the HoYoLAB community with your account and visit the homepage. There, you can find a calendar icon on the right side of the screen. By clicking you will be redirected to the Genshin Impact rewards page. At this point you have to click on the daily reward which will then be available when you log into the game. To help you, we leave you the direct link to the awards page.

What are Genshin Impact's March 2021 awards? They change every day and you should therefore make sure you log in to the site every 24 hours. In case you get them all, you will have access to:

Primogem (x60) Mora (x67000) Adventurer's Experience (x26) Hero's Wit (x5) Fine Enhancement Ore (x16) Raw Meat (x3) Fowl (x3) Fish (x3) Bird Egg (x3)

In addition to these rewards for Genshin Impact, the HoYoLAB Community also includes new features such as an improved version of Battle Chronicle which now allows players to look at your weapons, artifacts and constellations.

We remind you that for the moment Genshin Impact is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and iOS and Android mobile devices. The game will also arrive on Nintendo Switch and an upgrade version for PS5 will be released: obviously you can already play via backward compatibility on PlayStation 5 with the PS4 version.

Finally we point out the new video showing Hu Tao in action, new Genshin Impact character.

‘Genshin Impact’ Daily Check-In Rewards Are Here, But Terrible

Genshin Impact

It’s pretty standard for most games, especially gacha games, to reward players for logging in at least once a day with a tangible prize, but so far, Genshin Impact has avoided that outside of a few specific weeks.

But now, Genshin Impact does have daily check-in rewards, though they are not done in-game, and are meant to drive traffic toward the MiHoYo Lab community which is where you’ll be doing the check-in.

That website is here, and once you get there, you will want to look for this tiny button to the right of the page. This will take you to the rewards screen.

The problem? These rewards are terrrrible. I mean, I’m not expecting to drown in loot here, but checking in daily for the entire month gets you:

  • 26x Adventurer’s XP
  • 5x Hero’s Wit
  • 16x Fine Enhancement Ore
  • 3x Fowl, Meat, Eggs, Fish
  • 67,000 Mora
  • 60x Primogems
  • Like in Genshin Impact terms, that’s practically nothing. You only get a single pull for the entire month of checking in, and only because the first time you log in, you get 100 more primogems.

I know it’s free, but as many commenters under the announcement tweet note, most other games give away a lot more stuff in log-in events like this. Usually you get some sort of big bonus if you hit every day and make it to the end, but there does not seem to be anything like that here. The last day is just…5,000 gold. Woo.

Granted yes, Genshin Impact is always throwing in-game events every other week or so, and those are always pretty rewarding and don’t cost anything to participate. But I think fans were just expecting more for the kind of check-in system many had been asking for since launch. When the weekly check-ins do pop up in-game, they’re a lot more rewarding than this. And I don’t think Genshin is exactly hurting for money, so I’m not sure why some of these login rewards are things you can get from…shooting a single boar or bird in the game.

Anyway, we’ll see if these rewards get amped up the following month if enough players push back on them, as miHoYo is usually pretty responsive to fan feedback. For now, just get the bare minimum here, and poke around on the Lab website for a few other interesting features regarding the game.
