Final Fantasy 7 Remake in VR
With the Sony exclusivity of the JRPG that is starting to expire, the videogame community wonders about the possibility of seeing the epic of Cloud and companions arrive on other platforms, perhaps even with the entry of Final Fantasy VII Remake on Xbox Game Pass .While waiting for any news in this sense from Square Enix, there is no shortage of initiatives by enthusiasts, with the most creative users ready to shape their own Midgar. Particularly interesting in this context is the production of two fans who wanted to recreate the metropolis by exploiting the possibilities offered by VRChat. Thanks to the fan-made production, PC players can immerse themselves in an amateur version of Midgar, to be experienced firsthand and able to offer some decidedly suggestive views.
The initiative is signed by Takato Matsuki and Colonel McKerne l, two Steam users who have dedicated their time to creating this interesting experience. Among the locations recreated by the duo, we find Cloud's apartment, Aerith's house, Seventh Heaven, Church and several offices of the Shinra Corporation. The virtual videogame tourism activity requires the use of VRChat to be experienced in Virtual Reality, but access to VR is not an essential requirement to explore this version of Midgar. To take a first look at the fan-made operation, at the bottom you will find some screenshots, while a dedicated video is available at the opening: what do you think?
In closing, we remind you that Final Fantasy VII Remake is free with PlayStation Plus for the entire month of March.
