Evil Inside

Do you remember P.T., the Silent Hills demo? A project that has inspired many clones, including Evil Inside, the protagonist of our video review. A game that looks like Silent Hills Playable Teaser, but not in a good way ...

The ambitions nurtured by the JanduSoft team in recreating the magic of the iconic P.T. by Hideo Kojima, in fact, they end up being crushed by the reality of a project that cannot escape the monotony of a flat play experience.

The promise of an adventure in the name of mystery and "jump scare" is in fact ignored by a repetitiveness at times disarming: if in titles like Visage the references to the work of Kojima and Del Toro are exploited to create a distinct identity, in Evil Inside "the nostalgia operation" attempted by JanduSoft it fails due to the absence of any element of originality that pushes the user to continue the adventure. And this, despite the fact that it takes no more than two hours to solve all the environmental puzzles and exorcise the demons that haunt young protagonist Mark's home to reach the credits.

For a more in-depth look this horror project in the footsteps of PT which is available from today, March 25, on PC, PS4 and PlayStation 5, we recommend that those who follow us read our review of Evil Inside by Michele Verardi.
